Dear friends, readers, and fellow travellers,

With the turn of the year, I wanted to check back in – and thank you again for the response to Rising Storm. Seeing readers step back into this world has been quietly humbling.

If Dark Rising was about discovery, Rising Storm is about consequence.

Allies are scattered. Power is no longer theoretical. Decisions made in haste – or fear – begin to echo outward, reshaping loyalties, relationships, and the fragile balance between worlds. No single victory comes without cost, and survival itself starts to demand uncomfortable choices.

This book asks harder questions of its characters – and, I hope, of its readers. What do you protect when everything cannot be saved? Who do you become when waiting is no longer an option?

For those just joining the journey, Rising Storm is now available on Kindle and in print. And for those who’ve already begun — thank you for walking into the storm with me.

As for what comes next: the foundations laid here will carry directly into Book Three, Storm Born. The road ahead is already taking shape, and I’ll be sharing more as the year unfolds.
